Kate trained at Hull University Drama Department (BA Hons 1st Class) and later as an Associate Director at Hull Truck Theatre, working as an assistant director to Simon Stallworthy and later John Godber. Alice has worked extensively as a director in regional theatre, including residencies at Basingstoke Haymarket, Harrogate Theatre, Lichfield Garrick, West Yorkshire Playhouse and a long association with John Godber's Hull Truck. She is also a published playwright. 

Jez Lowe is a world renowned touring singer songwriter originally from the North-east of England, who since 2007 has been a Badapple Theatre Company director specialising in creating new music projects for rural touring as well as original soundtracks for theatre productions.
